Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation brings to perfection the grace we received in the sacrament of Baptism. Confirmation enriches the baptized with the strength of the Holy Spirit so that they can better witness to Christ in word and deed (Catechism of the Catholic Church [CCC], no. 1285). Anointed by the Holy Spirit at Confirmation, Christians strengthen their bond with the Church and become better equipped to carry out the Church’s mission of love and service. Confirmation is a sacrament of initiation, a call to witness, and conscious decision to imitate the love and service of Christ and the saints.
Sacramental preparation for Confirmation is a two-year program open to all high school-aged students. For more information contact Cindy Rodriguez, Confirmation Coordinator at 562-431-2414.

It is open to anyone who is at least 21 years of age, has been baptized in the Catholic Church, and has made their First Holy Communion.
