Music Ministry
“All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries. Sing praise to God; sing praise; sing praise to our king; sing praise.” (Psalm 47:2, 7)
About the Ministry
Music ministry is an integral part of the liturgical life of the Church. The Music Director oversees the musical element of the Mass by orchestrating all aspects of musical liturgy: planning, training, and scheduling. The Music Director leads the
parish choir, which provides traditional organ music at the 11:00 Sunday Mass, on Holy Days of Obligation, and at other liturgical celebrations from mid-September through Pentecost Sunday. Participation is open to all adults who can make the commitment to a weekly rehearsal and participation at the 11:00 Sunday Mass. Choir members must be able to carry a tune and match pitch. The ability to read music is not a requirement. The cantor leads the assembly in singing prayer and
hymns. If you are interested in joining the parish choir or serving as a cantor, contact the Music Director & Organist, Brian Archambault.
